There are many misconceptions about fertility<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>, the\u00a0IVF<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and fertility treatments<\/strong>\u00a0generally. "Myths of infertility are believed more often than not"except<\/em> of the fertility community \u201d, but some of them are even believed by those trying to conceive.<\/p>\n

Here is the truth behind 5 popular myths of infertility and fertility treatment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. Infertility is a female problem<\/span><\/h3>\n

Infertility is a human problem, not a female problem. Infertility occurs in both men and women.<\/p>\n

In heterosexual couples experiencing infertility:<\/p>\n

  • About a third will fight with her\u00a0<\/strong>male infertility<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Another third will fight with\u00a0<\/strong>female infertility<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • The remaining third will either face male and female fertility problems\u00a0either<\/em>\u00a0no cause will ever be found (unexplained infertility<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Infertility means that it is impossible to get pregnant on your own<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0THE infertility<\/strong> defined as the inability to conceive after one year of sexual intercourse<\/strong> without protection. When a woman does not become pregnant after one year, we can statistically say that the couple falls under the rule. We have reason to suspect that something may be wrong, even if we do not know what that "wrong" thing is.<\/p>\n

    However, people who have been diagnosed with infertility<\/strong> they can eventually capture without fertility treatments<\/strong>. For older women 40 to 44 year olds, 16 percent report difficulty<\/strong> to get pregnant or to become pregnant.<\/p>\n

    4. You do not have to worry about your age. There is always IVF<\/span><\/h3>\n

    People postpone a pregnancy for various reasons. No one should rush to have children if they are not ready, but age is an important factor<\/strong> to be taken into account.<\/p>\n

    There is a common misconception<\/strong> that if the infertility<\/strong> age-related occurs, you can always do IVF<\/strong>. Things are not that simple. Just as your natural fertility decreases with age, your chances of success with IVF treatment also decrease with age.<\/p>\n

    According with\u00a0<\/strong>statistics collected by the CDC<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>, the 33% of in vitro fertilization cycles for women under 35 years<\/strong> led to the birth of a baby. For women aged 38 to 40 years<\/strong>, the success rate reduced by almost half<\/strong>, approximately at 17%. For older women 43 to 44 years old<\/strong>, birth rates per cycle it was only 3 percent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    5. If you already have a child, you do not need to worry about fertility<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

    THE secondary infertility <\/strong>is when a couple finds it difficult to conceive since they already have a child in the past. Unfortunately, The previous success of the pregnancy does not guarantee the continued success of the fertility.<\/strong><\/p>\n
